Serious about the work. Not so serious about ourselves.

Soglia is Italian for threshold, a nod to our shared Italian roots. Between us, we've spent more than 35 years in the cardiovascular medical device industry, on different sides of it. One of us came up through biomedical engineering, data, and strategy. The other came up through clinical research, program management, and marketing. Along the way, we learned to do careful, high-stakes work with a lot of people in the room.

The threshold we crossed was about time: how we spend it, and what it adds up to. We want our work to mean something. We want to build things that are useful, put a little more kindness into the world, support education, and back the people and causes we care about. Soglia Ventures is where we do that, building apps, websites, and games for partners and for ourselves.

We bring the rigor of an industry where details matter, and we pick up something new with every project. We take the work seriously, we try not to take ourselves too seriously, and we're having a lot of fun along the way.
